What it is: Hender Scheme’s hand-made homage to the AF1 High, built entirely in natural leather that patinas beautifully.

Condition: Brand new, unworn.
Includes: Original kraft archive box with blue tie, tissue, care card (JP), hangtag/card, envelopes — as pictured.

Details & Construction

• Premium vegetable-tanned cowhide upper in undyed Natural; ages to a rich caramel with wear and sunlight.

• High-top profile with velcro ankle strap; leather laces.

• Fully leather-lined with leather insole.

• Hand-finished stitched leather midsole & outsole with rubber toplift at heel (traditional dress-shoe style).

• Visible hand stitching around toe and midsole; small perforations at vamp.

• Crafted by artisans in Hender Scheme’s “Manual Industrial Products” line — intentionally not for sport; built like fine footwear.

Fit Notes

• Tagged Size 4 = US 8

• Veg-tan leather relaxes with wear; most wear TTS or 0.5 down if between sizes or narrow.

Care

• Avoid heavy rain initially; leather soles can be slick until broken in.

• Expect natural marks/tonal variation from veg-tan. Use neutral cream/conditioner; patina will deepen.
